Ulrich Horst

Ulrich Horst OP (born April 6, 1931 in Schellen ) is a German Catholic theologian .

Life

The son of Josef and Margarete Ulrichs born. Laschewski entered the Dominican order after graduating from high school in Ibbenbüren in 1951 . From 1952 to 1955 he studied theology and philosophy at the Philosophical-Theological Religious College in Walberberg and Salamanca . He was ordained a priest on July 25, 1957 in Cologne . In Munich he was in 1963 for Dr. theol. PhD . From 1963 to 1978 he taught as a lecturer in fundamental theology at the Philosophical-Theological Religious College of Walberberg. After receiving his habilitation in 1978 for the history of theology from the Catholic-Theological Faculty of the LMU Munich , he was full professor for historical theology at the University of Rhineland from 1978 to 1985, later becoming the Pedagogical Faculty of the University of Bonn . From 1985 until his retirement in 1999 he taught as a full professor for the history of theology at the LMU Munich since the end of his fatherhood . At the same time he was head of the Grabmann Institute in Munich.
