Ulrich Püschel

Ulrich Püschel (born August 6, 1943 in Riesa ; † March 19, 2014 ) was a German Germanist and linguist.

Life

He studied in Marburg and Freiburg im Breisgau . After receiving his doctorate in Trier in 1973 with a study on the compatibility of lexical units in German, he was a research assistant and then appointed as an academic adviser in the field of German linguistics. After completing his habilitation in 1996, he has been an adjunct professor since 2002 .

His focus was on linguistic stylistics and linguistic analysis of political discussions.
