Ulrich Troitzsch

Ulrich Rudolf Troitzsch (born January 8, 1938 in Dresden ) is a German technology historian .

Ulrich Troitzsch has been teaching as professor for social and economic history at the University of Hamburg , Laboratory Social History of Technology, since 1975 .

Troitzsch and Wolfhard Weber held the programmatic essay "Methodological considerations for a future technological history" at the 31st German Historians' Day on September 24, 1976 in Mannheim . This deals with systematic questions to be clarified in order to promote the establishment of the then still young history of technology as an independent discipline.
