Ulrik Badertscher (born June 24, 1988 ) is a Norwegian snowboarder from Hakadal , ( Norway ). He starts in the Big Air discipline .

As a teenager, Ulrik Badertscher started in slopestyle and celebrated his first successes at the Junior European Championships in a strong year with the Finns Peetu Piiroinen , Juuso Laivisto and his compatriot Roger Kleivdal in fifth place. At the FIS Junior World Championships 2006 in Vivaldi Park in South Korea, he was the best Norwegian and came sixth in Big Air. He achieved a victory in 2006 at the TTR World Rookie Fest in Livigno and he was also able to achieve second place in freestyle at the junior competition in Avoriaz .

On January 6, 2007, he made his debut in the FIS World Cup at a Big Air competition in Graz and finished 18th. In the same month he started at the FIS Snowboard World Championship in Arosa, Switzerland, and was 36; at the Junior World Championships in April 2007, he reached 19th place. In the 2007/2008 season he only competed in one World Cup and was 25th in his discipline in Stockholm.

At the FIS World Cup kick-off of the 2009 season in London , he achieved his first top ten placement with the victory of the Finn Peetu Piiroinen with fifth place, directly behind his compatriot Roger Kleivdal.

On December 3, 2011, Badertscher won his first TTR -6 star competition, the highest category of the competition tour, with the Air & Style Contest in Beijing .
