Ulrike Buchholz

Ulrike Buchholz (born May 14, 1959 in Münster ) is a German linguist and has been a professor of corporate communications at Hanover University since 2001 .

Life

Buchholz began studying linguistics at the Westphalian Wilhelms University of Münster . There she received her doctorate in 1986. After completing her studies, she first worked at Bertelsmann AG. In 1990 she then moved to Siemens AG in Munich . Here she was responsible for internal communication . In 1996 she then changed her job from Siemens AG to Infineon Technologies AG . Here she was primarily responsible for turning Infineon into an independent company.

Buchholz has been a professor at the Hanover University of Applied Sciences (now Hanover University) since the summer semester 2001, where she teaches and researches in the Public Relations course . Her special focus is on internal communication and corporate communication in management theory. She is also active in PR consulting and she also gives guest lectures at conferences and congresses.
