Immaculate Conception of Mary (Fahrnau)
The Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary in the Schopfheim district of Fahrnau is a Roman Catholic branch church that was converted from a former factory building in the 1950s.

When the Catholic community in Fahrnau was looking for a suitable place to build a branch church, the opportunity arose in 1953 to acquire the property of the Schanzlin machine factory. After a fundamental renovation, the church was given a name on May 2, 1954.
description
The Catholic branch church is structurally inconspicuous in the middle of a residential area. To the east of the church is an enclosed garden. The nave is a rectangular building with a gable roof that connects seamlessly to the neighboring house on the west side. On the northeast side rises a small roof turret with a square floor plan with a pyramid roof . The two bells cast in 1954 by FW Schilling from Heidelberg are suspended in the roof turret. The Marienglocke is tuned to the strike tone g ′ ′, the guardian angel bell is tuned to the tone b ′ ′.
Inside the church, the ceiling is drawn in at an angle. A simple altar , a crucifix and a tabernacle are set up in the slightly raised choir area . The equipment also includes a statue of the Madonna with the baby Jesus and 13 stations of the cross in the form of fire paintings on wood.
