Undine Materni
Undine Materni (* 1963 in Sangerhausen ) is a German writer and poet .
Life
Undine Materni graduated from high school in 1982 and initially studied chemistry, in 1987 she received her diploma in this subject. She worked as a research engineer, geriatric nurse and waitress and was co-editor of the legendary reiterIn Dresden magazine. From 1990 to 1993 she studied at the German Literature Institute in Leipzig . Later she worked as a publishing employee at the Goldenbogenverlag Dresden and worked for the Ausländerrat Dresden e. V.
Since 2006 she has been working as a freelance author, editor and journalist, columnist, art and literary critic. She has received several scholarships from the Free State of Saxony and is a member of the Literature Forum Dresden e. V.
Undine Materni has a son.
