The União das Freguesias de Arca e Varzielas is a Portuguese municipality ( freguesia ) in the district ( concelho ) Oliveira de Frades in northern Portugal .

history

The municipality was created in the course of the regional reform on September 29, 2013 by merging the former municipalities of Arca and Varzielas . Arca became the seat of the new administration.
