The União das Freguesias de Candemil e Gondar is a Portuguese municipality ( Freguesia ) in the district ( Concelho ) Vila Nova de Cerveira in northwest Portugal .

history

The municipality was created in the course of the regional reform on September 29, 2013 by merging the former municipalities of Candemil and Gondar . Candemil became the seat of the new administration.
