The União das Freguesias de Castanheiro do Norte e Ribalonga is a Portuguese municipality ( freguesia ) in the district ( concelho ) Carrazeda de Ansiães , Bragança district , in north-eastern Portugal .

history

The municipality was created in the course of the regional reform of September 29, 2013 by merging the former municipalities of Castanheiro and Ribalonga . Castanheiro became the seat of the new administration.
