The União das Freguesias de Vila Chã (São João Batista e Santiago) is a Portuguese municipality ( Freguesia ) in the district ( concelho ) Ponte da Barca in northwestern Portugal .

history

The municipality was created in the course of the regional reform of September 29, 2013 by merging the former municipalities of São João Baptista de Vila Chã and Santiago de Vila Chã . São João Baptista de Vila Chã became the seat of the new administration.
