The 4th floorball world championship for women was held in Switzerland from May 18 to 24, 2003 . The venues were Muri-Gümligen and Wünnewil in the preliminary round and Bern in the final round.
Sweden defeated Switzerland 8-1 in the final and won their second world title. Bronze went to Finland .
