2011 World Floorball Championship for women

The 8th Women's Floorball World Championship was held from December 3rd to 11th, 2011 in St. Gallen , Switzerland . 16 teams took part in the tournament, six more than two years earlier at the World Cup in Sweden .

The Swedish team became world champions by beating Finland 4-2, bronze went to the Czech Republic, which defeated Switzerland 3-2 in the small final.

qualification

The best seven teams in the A division and the best team in the B division qualified directly. The remaining eight participants were selected through four qualifying tournaments in Spain, Poland, Australia and Canada.
