Corin Rüttimann (born April 18, 1992 ) is a Swiss floorball player . She is under contract with the national league A club piranha chur .

Career

Rüttimann played floorball as a child in Schiers , where she grew up. She joined piranha chur in her youth. Since 2008 she plays for the Grisons club in the National League A . In 2010 , 2012 and 2013 the striker won the championship title with piranha chur , and in 2013 the cup .

In 2013 she moved to Sweden in the Svenska Superligan : From 2013, she first played three seasons at Endre IF in Visby on the island of Gotland . She then moved to IKSU Innebrandy in Umeå , with whom she won the Swedish championship in the 2016/17 season . In the final she recorded an assist.

Rüttimann has been playing for piranha chur again since 2017. There the striker continued her run of success: in 2018 she won the championship, the cup and the Supercup again . In 2018 she was elected MVP of the league. In 2019 piranha chur only achieved the runner-up title in the championship and the cup, but Rüttimann was again elected MVP. In addition, she received the award "Graubünden Sportswoman of the Year". In 2020 she won the cup again with Chur.

Like the majority of Swiss floorball players, Rüttimann works alongside her sporting commitment.

National team

Scheidegger had a squad for the U19 national team for the first time in 2007 , but was not used. The following year she became world champion with the Swiss U19 in Poland. In five games she scored five goals and three assists.

In 2009 she was called up to the senior national team and played successfully at the floorball world championship in Sweden , where the Swiss became vice world champions and Rütimann scored nine goals. She took part with the senior national team at the following world championships in 2011 in St. Gallen , 2013 in the Czech Republic , 2015 in Finland and 2017 in Slovakia . Apart from 2011, when it was only enough for fourth place, the Swiss women always won bronze.

At the 2019 home World Cup in Neuchâtel , she was one of the event's figureheads. Even before the event, she had 105 international matches with 149 points scorer .
