The University of Louisiana at Monroe (also Louisiana-Monroe , or ULM called) is a state university in Monroe in the US state of Louisiana . The college was founded in 1931. There are currently 8,140 students enrolled. It is part of the University of Louisiana system . The ULM is the only university in Louisiana that offers gerontology .

University sports

The ULM sports teams are the Warhawks . The university is a member of the Sun Belt Conference .
