The Cologne-Ahrweiler Rally (RKA) is an ADAC- supported rally around the wine-growing town of Mayschoss an der Ahr ( Eifel ) including (not every year) a special stage on the Nürburgring - Nordschleife in the opposite direction.

In 2012 youngtimer vehicles that were homologated until the end of 1988 , as well as historic touring cars and GT vehicles built between 1962 and 1981, took part in various evaluation groups. Youngtimers that do not fit into the regulations drive as so-called advance cars before the actual special stage . Historic rally vehicles, as part of the automotive cultural heritage, can be moved in a sporty manner and in competitive conditions.

As part of the RKA, the season finale of the Youngtimer Trophy is held with vehicles from 1966 to 1988. Furthermore, a special classification run of the Youngtimer Rallye Trophy starts.

Along with the German Grand Prix , the WRC Germany Rally and the 24-hour race on the Nürburgring, it is one of the most important motorsport events in western Germany. Many prominent drivers such as Olaf Manthey and rally legends Walter Röhrl and Björn Waldegård have already successfully participated in the traditional event.

In the last few years, the registered starting field comprised more than 100 drivers. The rally always takes place on the second weekend in November.
