The Lower Tirich Glacier is located in the northern Hindu Kush in the Pakistani province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa .
The Lower Tirich Glacier has a length of 18 km. It flows initially in an easterly direction, later in a north and finally again in an easterly direction. Its nutrient area is on the north flank of the 7708 m high Tirich Mir . The Obere Tirich Glacier forms a tributary glacier on the left of the Lower Tirich Glacier.
