The Lower Victoria Glacier is a glacier in East Antarctic Victoria Land . It occupies the eastern end of the Victoria Valley and merges into the Wilson Piedmont Glacier on the Scott Coast .
It was named on the occasion of a campaign carried out from 1958 to 1959 as part of the New Zealand Victoria University's Antarctic Expeditions after the alma mater of the Victoria University of Wellington , who had financially supported the expedition.
