Unterhütte is a hamlet of Leutenberg in the Saalfeld-Rudolstadt district in Thuringia .

Unterhütte lies down in the western Sormitztal . As the name suggests, it is a mining site.

history

In the available literature, no first mention could be determined. The huts are said to have opened there in the 16th century. The miners were also mountain farmers in order to support the family.
