Uoleva (also: Holeva , Hoolaiva ) is an island in the center of Ha'apai in the Pacific . Politically, it belongs to the Kingdom of Tonga .
geography
The Motu and Lifuka are located north of the Ava Auhangamea Channel , at a point where the reef stretches to the west, where the islets of Luangahu , Hakau'ata and Lofanga rise alongside other rocks and reef islands. These belong to the Uiha administrative district. The islets of ʻUiha and Tatafa join in the south . The crescent-shaped island runs with its northeast tip directly towards the Hulu'ipaongo Point of Lifuka.
climate
The climate is tropical hot, but is tempered by constantly blowing winds. Like the other islands in the Ha'apai group, Uoleva is occasionally hit by cyclones .
