Construction of the Imago

The abdomen is black on the underside and light blue on the back. While the lower lip is whitish, the upper lip, face, and forehead are whitish yellow. All three parts are also covered with small black hair. The back of the thorax is almost black and is crossed by yellowish wavy lines that are difficult to see. On the greenish sides of the thorax there are four narrow, diffuse, blackish transverse bands. The wings of the males are light yellow with a slight green tinge and do not have any black spots, as is common with other Uracis species. The wing mark ( pterostigma ) is black.
