Uralowe ( Ukrainian Уралове ; Russian Уралово Uralowo ) is a village in the Ukrainian Sumy Oblast with about 600 inhabitants (2004).

Geographical location

The village is located on the banks of the Swyha ( Свига ), a 50 km long left tributary of the Desna and on the territorial road T-19-08 . Seredyna-Buda district center is 43 km east and Sumy oblast center is 220 km southeast of Uralowe.

Uralowe is the administrative center of the district council of the same name in Seredyna-Buda district , which also includes the village of Chyhyn ( Чигин ) with about 90 inhabitants.
