The Uri Rotstock is a mountain in the Uri Alps with a height of 2928 m above sea level. M. It is located in the Isenthal municipality of Uri . The mountain has not been developed, but there are some hiking trails and climbing opportunities.
It lies between the Engelbergertal and Lake Lucerne. In the south, separated by the Blüemlisalpfirn, from west to east are the following peaks: Engelberger Rotstock ( 2818.5 m above sea level ), Wissigstock ( 2887 m above sea level ), Blackenstock ( 2930 m above sea level ), Brunnistock ( 2952 m above sea level ). Its western flank falls into the Grosstal , its eastern flank into the Chlital , here is also the Chlitalerfirn. On its northern foothills, which ends as Chulm south of Isenthal, there is still the Schlieren ( 2830 m above sea level ).
