The Brunnistock is 2952 m above sea level. M. high mountain in the Urner Alps in Switzerland.
geography
The mountain is located in the canton of Uri on the border between the municipalities of Attinghausen and Isenthal and is their highest point. Together with the Blackenstock , it forms the end of the Isental valley.
About 2 km northwest of it is the almost equally high Uri Rotstock in front of it. The Blüemlisalpfirn is located on the western flank of the Brunnistock . Immediately northeast of the Brunnistock is the Gitschenhöreli ( 2906 m above sea level ), which can be described as the pre-summit of the Brunnistock, while the terrain drops several hundred meters towards the south over steep rock faces to the Surenen Pass .
Alpinism
The Brunnistock can be climbed from the Isental via an alpine tour ( L ) over the Blüemlisalpfirn.
