Urs Eiselin (born August 8, 1976 in Sarnen ) is a former Swiss snowboarder .

He entered the Snowboard World Cup in 1997 and achieved a total of 4 World Cup victories (3 in parallel giant slalom and 1 in parallel slalom). At the FIS Snowboard World Championships 2005 in Whistler Mountain , he won the silver medal in the parallel giant slalom. In 2004 he was third in the overall World Cup and in 2005 even second behind Philipp Schoch . Despite these achievements, he was not selected for the Turin Winter Olympics due to the strong Swiss competition in snowboarding alpine sports .

In August 2007 he announced his resignation. Since then, he has been building the Sand-X sand vehicle in Dubai , which he had developed from a converted snowmobile. This accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in less than three seconds and reaches a top speed of 185 kilometers per hour.
