The old Tonhalle organ in Neumünster

When the old Tonhalle organ in the Tonhalle Zurich had to give way to a new organ in the summer of 1986 and was threatened with destruction, Ursina Caflisch successfully campaigned for the reconstruction of the instrument in the neo-classical church in Neumünster (Zurich) . From 1992 to 1994 the instrument was restored by the organ builder Kuhn AG and inaugurated in 1995 by Ursina Caflisch. From 1995 to 2007, together with the Verein der Musikfreunde Neumünster , she organized organ concert cycles and music weeks in which the instrument was performed as a soloist and together with choirs, instrumentalists and vocal soloists. From 2008 to 2014, an organ concert cycle with the Alte Tonhalle organ took place annually under the artistic direction of Ursina Caflisch.
