Ursula Pistorius

Ursula Pistorius b. Raabe (born January 18, 1933 in Frankfurt / Oder ; † September 4, 2015 in Osnabrück ) was a Lower Saxony politician ( SPD ) and a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament . Her son is the Lower Saxony Minister for the Interior and Sport , Boris Pistorius .

Pistorius first attended elementary school and later the grammar school and unit school until 1949. The move to Osnabrück took place. In 1952 she passed her high school diploma. From 1952 to 1960 she worked as a publishing clerk. Since 1953 she was a member of the trade, banking and insurance union .

Pistorius had been a member of the SPD since 1970. Since 1972 she was a member of the council in Osnabrück, where she was a member of various committees. She was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament in the ninth to eleventh electoral period from June 21, 1978 to June 20, 1990. She was deputy chairman of the SPD parliamentary group from June 21, 1986 to June 20, 1990.
