Ursula Ramge

Ursula Ramge (born May 21, 1963 ) is a German instructor, speaker and competition judge in vaulting . Since 2002 she has been the national coach of the German vaulters. Ramge is co-author of the 2002 newly published “Guidelines for Riding and Driving”, Volume 3 (vaulting).

Career

Ursula ("Ulla") Ramge grew up in Dortmund. As a vaulting athlete, she was initially active in team vaulting, later also as an individual vaulting artist. In dressage and show jumping, she took part in competitions up to L class.

As a trainer, Ramge trained vaulting groups and individual vaulters of all levels and was regional trainer in Westphalia from 1990 to 2002 . During this period, the Westphalian vaulters won ten gold, ten silver and one bronze medal at German championships and seven gold, seven silver and three bronze medals at world and European championships . In 2002 she succeeded Helma Schwarzmann as national coach of the German vaulters. She trains the A, B, and C squads .

Ramge works as a consultant in the training of vaulting sports trainers and judges and is the chairman of the examination committee for vaulting trainer training .

She is also a national and international vaulting judge and is the FEI chief steward.
