Ursula Schaeppi (born June 22, 1940 in Zurich ) is a Swiss actress and comedian .

Life

Ursula Schaeppi played as a child some roles and went with 15 years in the acting classes . After that, she stood on various stages in Germany for more than ten years. With the Deutsche Kammerspiele Buenos Aires she went on tour through South and Central America for a year.

She became known throughout German-speaking Switzerland through the show blocks on the Teleboy program (1974 to 1981) in the role of "Brat Ursula". In the mid-1970s, she continued to play theater and produce her own plays. On the side of Walter Andreas Mueller , she starred in the sketch pad , "Adam and Eve Chifler" the game show dream team (1987 to 1993). In 1987 she was honored as a crowd favorite at the Prix ​​Walo Awards for this role together with Walter Andreas Müller . In 1990 Schaeppi played the double role as Lisbethli and her mother in the infomercial Rotsch .

Because seven people who were very close to Ursula Schaeppi had died within a short time, she slipped into depression in 1997 . She did not hide the disease, but spoke about it publicly in the Zischtigsclub in 1998 . With her appearance she wanted to draw attention to the fact that the disease also affects celebrities. Possibly the loss of image due to the discovery of the disease led to her not receiving any engagements later despite surviving depression. In 2013 she announced that she had chronic lymphocytic leukemia .

She has lived in Thalwil since 2003 and founded the children's theater atelier there . Today she works with seniors and children and stages plays such as “ Peter and the Wolf ” in the studio .
