Urszula Kozioł (2016)

Urszula Kozioł , with the pseudonym Antoni Migacz , Mirka Kargol , Faun , UK and Uka (born June 20, 1931 in Rakówka near Biłgoraj ) is a Polish poet , columnist and theater maker .

Life

Kozioł finished her studies in Polish studies at the University of Wroclaw in 1953 . That year she also published her first poems in the Gazeta Robocza newspaper . From 1954 to 1972 she worked as a teacher. In 1957 her first volume of poetry appeared and is therefore counted among the Współczesność generation ( pokolenie Współczesności ). Since 1958 she has published in the magazine Odra , which she took over as literary director in 1972. From 1959 to 1964 she published in the magazine Współczesność , from 1963 to 1965 in the weekly Tygodnik Kulturalny and from 1967 to 1972 in the magazine Poezja . She lives in Wroclaw .
