Usus Mango
Usama Elyas (born July 2, 1981 in Aachen ) is a stand-up comedian known under the stage name Ususmango and co-founder of the comedy ensemble RebellComedy .
life and career
Ususmango is the son of the Saudi Arabian Islamic scholar and physician Nadeem Elyas and grew up in Eschweiler . There he graduated from high school at the Episcopal Liebfrauenschule. He then began studying visual communication at the Aachen University of Applied Sciences and completed this with his conceptual diploma thesis on the subject of comedy entitled “Flatbread”.
With Babak Ghassim he founded " RebellComedy " according to this template in 2006 , because neither of them could identify with any existing comedy format in Germany.
This was followed by their own rebel comedy television series on WDR , several TV appearances and the like. a. on Pussyterror TV , TV Total and Nightwash . Ususmango tours both solo and annually with RebellComedy across Germany. In addition, “Behind Us My Land” by Babak Ghassim and Usama Elyas is the best-known media poem in Germany after Jan Böhmermann's humiliating poem about Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan .
