The Utchan Ira ( Portuguese Lagoa Utchanira ) is a salt lake in East Timor Suco Com (Office of Administration loud , community loud ), to the east of the country. The lake has an area of 0.318 ha.

The Utchan Ira is the middle of the three lakes of Ran , an area north of the village of Com, about 100 meters from the coast of the Strait of Wetar and 50 meters from the Strait of Lautém to Com . The Umun Ira is north, the Lua Ira is south. Even outside of the rainy season, the lakes do not dry out. The region is part of the Nino Konis Santana National Park . The lakes are considered to be particularly worthy of protection due to the numerous water birds that live here in tree-covered savannas, on the beach and in salty mud flats. The area of the lakes is claimed by the Fataluku Clan ( Ratu ) Kati. Slash-and-burn agriculture, illegal logging and hunting threaten the biotope.
