Ute Zimmer is a German amateur astronomer .

Between 2007 and 2009 she discovered 20 asteroids in collaboration with Erwin Schwab , Rainer Kling and Stefan Karge . The Hans-Ludwig-Neumann-Observatory ( IAU-Code B01) on the Kleiner Feldberg in the Taunus was used for the discovery.

She is a member of the Physikalischer Verein - Society for Education and Science , which was founded in 1824.

  for: "Astrometry of objects in our planetary system and the discovery of asteroids at the Hans-Ludwig-Neumann-Observatory of the Physical Society at the Taunus-Observatory" together with S. Karge, R. Kling and E. Schwab
