(207763) Oberursel is an asteroid of the main outer belt , which is located between Mars and Jupiter .
It was discovered on October 6, 2007 by the German amateur astronomers Rainer Kling and Ute Zimmer from the Hans-Ludwig-Neumann-Observatory ( IAU code B01) on the Kleiner Feldberg in the Taunus .
The asteroid was named on December 10, 2011 after the town of Oberursel in Hesse , where Ute Zimmer lived.
