Utzle life

Utzleben is a desert between Minsleben and Derenburg in what is now Saxony-Anhalt . The place, known as Utislevo in 1024 , was one of the oldest mission bases in the region and the seat of an archdeaconate of the Halberstadt diocese . Its catchment area extended over all the churches of the Vorharzland between Heimburg and Ilse as well as to the south up to the high plateaus of the Harz around Elbingerode (Harz) . In 1267 the Halberstadt diocese owned a Villication to Utzleben. A Kaland of excommunication Utzleben has yet 1516 Wernigerode passed.

The desert is registered as a ground monument under 428301034 in the local monument register.
