Uvitonic acid ( 6-methyl-pyridine-2,4-dicarboxylic acid , 6-methylcinchomeronic acid ) is an organic compound that belongs to the heterocycles (more precisely: heteroaromatics ). It consists of a pyridine ring that has two carboxy groups in the 2- and 4-position and a methyl group in the 6-position.
