Uwe Öchsle (born June 11, 1941 - † April 17, 2007 ) was a German football player and coach.

Uwe Öchsle came to BSG Stahl Brandenburg in 1961 . The goalkeeper stayed with the club for 27 years. With Stahl, Öchsle rose in 1970 from the district league (3rd division) to the GDR league . In 1974 he became assistant coach of the first team, later he coached the A-Juniors and the second team of the club. After the club, which was able to qualify for the 2nd Bundesliga after the political change in the GDR and after the subsequent reunification, continued to lose quality in the following years, was relegated several times and faced bankruptcy, Öchsle took over the coaching office by Lothar Hamann and led the club from a relegation place to midfield of the association league .
