Uwe Goetze

Uwe Goetze (born January 9, 1961 in Berlin ) is a German politician ( CDU ). From 1991 to 2011 he was a member of the Berlin House of Representatives .

Life

Goetze grew up in Berlin and attended the Herder High School , where he passed his Abitur in 1979. This was followed by an apprenticeship as a banker, which he completed in 1982. In 1982 he got a job at the Bank für Bank für Handel und Industrie AG and in the same year began studying business administration , which he ended early in 1984. From 1984 to 1990 he worked as a lecturer in political education. From 1993 to 1999 he was first division manager and later sales representative of the Consulting and Service Company Umwelt mbH in Berlin.

He is married and has two children.

Goetze has been a member of the CDU since 1977 and was a member of the Junge Union from 1977 to 1996 . From 2005 to 2011 he was chairman of the CDU local association Charlottenburg-Nord and since 1981 delegate to the district and state party congress of the Christian Democrats.

From 1985 to 1990 Goetze was a member of the District Assembly of Charlottenburg and deputy chairman of the CDU parliamentary group. In the Berlin elections in 1990 , 1995 , 1999 , 2001 and 2006 , he was elected to the House of Representatives, to which he belonged until 2011. In parliament he was environmental policy spokesman from 1993 to 2006, from 1999 parliamentary managing director, from 2002 to 2003 school policy spokesman and from 2006 to 2011 budgetary and financial policy spokesman for the CDU parliamentary group.
