Uwe Jungandreas (born February 16, 1962 in Altenburg ) is a German handball trainer and former handball player .
He started as a player in 1972 at Traktor Ziegelheim, moved to SC Leipzig in 1975 , where he played until 1981. From 1981 to 1982 he worked at Wismut Ronneburg and then at OHS Löbau until 1983. From 1983 to 1986 he played again in Ronneburg and from 1987 to 1990 at the HSG Freiberg . He looked after this club after his playing days as a coach from 1990 to 1997. From 1997 to 2010 he coached the 1. SV Concordia Delitzsch team . From 2010 he was coach of the SC DHfK Leipzig . On May 5, 2013, he was released from his duties. On December 17, 2013, he took over the coaching position at Bundesliga club SC Magdeburg until the end of the 2014 season. From November 2014 he was then coach of the third division club Dessau-Roßlauer HV .
His successes include promotion to the handball league with Concordia Delitzsch and to the 2nd handball league with Dessau-Roßlauer HV .
Uwe Jungandreas is married and has two children.
