Uwe Lohmann

Uwe Lohmann (born May 8, 1959 in Hamburg ) is a German politician ( SPD ). He has been a member of the Hamburg Parliament since 2011 .

Life

Lohmann graduated from high school in 1980 and studied sports science in Hamburg from 1984 to 1989 . He then took on a managerial role at Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund Sozialeinrichtungen (Hamburg) GmbH, where he is in charge of assisted senior living. From 1992 to 2018 he was chairman of the ABS local association Hamburg West eV From 1998 to 1999 he completed training in social management .

Lohmann joined the SPD in 1975. From 2008 to 2011 he was a member of the Wandsbek district assembly , where he was deputy parliamentary group chairman. On March 23, 2011, he replaced Peter Tschentscher in the Hamburg parliament . There he is a member of the Committee on Family, Children and Youth, the Urban Development Committee and the European Committee. In the 2015 mayor election , Lohmann won a direct mandate in the Wandsbek constituency with 18,944 votes .

On February 23, 2020, Lohmann again succeeded in moving into the Hamburg Parliament .
