Uwe Schöler

Uwe Schöler (born December 8, 1964 ) is a former German soccer player .

Athletic career

Since his youth, Schöler played for various clubs in the Swabian Alb . After his first steps at TSV Laichingen , he moved to FC Tailfingen via TSV Blaubeuren and SC Geislingen . With the club he was in 1988 just before the previous year relegated VfR Aalen and VfL Sindelfingen champion of the Württemberg Association League . Despite the associated promotion to the third-class Oberliga Baden-Württemberg , he moved to the third division VfL Kirchheim / Teck . While his former club was relegated directly, he reached eleventh place with his new club, to which the defender had contributed in 31 games with four goals this season.

Schöler moved to Bundesliga club 1. FC Köln after only one season , but he was not used. He then moved on in winter and joined the second division club SC Preußen Münster at the turn of the year . Here, too, he was only left with the role of supplementary player, under coach Elmar Müller and his successor Ernst Mareczek during the season , he only played one second division game.

In the summer of 1990, Schöler returned to the Baden-Württemberg Oberliga, where he joined SSV Reutlingen 05 . In the season 1991/92 he was with the team coached by Wilfried Groebner champion, but failed in the subsequent promotion round. In 1993 he moved within the league to the TSF Ditzingen supervised by Michael Feichtenbeiner . As fourth in the table, he qualified with the club for the newly introduced Regionalliga , where he was active for at least two seasons.
