Václav Brabec-Baron (born December 19, 1906 in Kročehlavy , Austria-Hungary , now the Czech Republic , † October 13, 1989 ) was a Czech football player .
Career
Brabec played for SK Kročehlavy in his youth . In 1928 the winger moved to the first division Bohemians Prague . Brabec scored five goals for Bohemians in the 1928/29 season. He then moved to rival Sparta Prague .
During his time at Sparta, Brabec, also known as the Baron, made his only international match for Czechoslovakia . In the 2: 4 defeat against Italy in Bologna on March 3, 1929, the right winger had to leave the field injured shortly before the end of the game.
For the 1930/31 season Brabec moved within the league to SK Náchod, where he initially stayed until mid-1932 and scored eight league goals. The attacker then returned to Bohemians Prague for half a year, before spending the first half of 1933 in Náchod again . This was followed by another six months at Bohemians Prague and again six months at SK Náchod.
In the summer of 1934 he went back to Prague, in 1935 Brabec-Baron left Czechoslovakia and played for the French first division promoted Olympique Alès .
