Víctor Hugo López Romero (born November 23, 1982 in Málaga ) is a Spanish handball player .

Victor Hugo López played in the Spanish league ASOBAL at BM Valladolid , with whom he won the European Cup Winners' Cup in 2009 , and from 2010 at Naturhouse La Rioja . For the 2013/14 season, the 1.95 meter tall back player moved to the German second division TV Großwallstadt , where he signed a two-year contract. In May 2015 he moved to the Qatari association al-Quiyada .

López played for both the Spanish junior and senior national teams .
