The Völkerschlachtdenkmal von Trebbichau is a memorial stone in the unified community Easterienburger Land in the district of Anhalt-Bitterfeld in Saxony-Anhalt . The small monument is under monument protection and is entered in the monument register with registration number 094 97226 as a monument .

location

The Trebbichau Monument to the Battle of the Nations is located at the fork in Trebbichauer Lindenstrasse and An der Feuerwehr Street - in front of the volunteer fire brigade and opposite the church .

shape

The stacking of vertically erected boulders , which are crowned by a single stone that serves as an inscription stone (see e.g. Meilendorf or Piethen ), is quite typical of the Völkerschlachtdenkmäler in the villages of Anhalt . Below the iron cross there is an inscription that is difficult to read. Apparently it reads October 18, 1813 :: 1913 . Like most of the Völkerschlacht monuments, this specimen is also part of the border area of war memorials , as it has been denied artistic value.
