The Vůznice (German Wuschnitz , also Wužnitz ) is a left tributary of the Berounka in the Czech Republic .

The Vůznice rises between Běleč and Bratronice in the Křivoklátská vrchovina at an altitude of 445 m. ü. M. on the western slope of the hill Kouty (473 m. Above sea level). The stream first flows in a south-westerly direction through Běleč and then turns south. Below Skalka it forms a deep valley with numerous river loops. On the left side are the remains of the medieval Jenčov hunting castle on a spur, below that on the right side above the valley is the Dřevíč castle . The Vůznice flows into the Berounka at the Šnárova hora (303 m above sea level) between Žloukovice and Nižbor .

Immediately before its mouth, the creek is bridged by the Beroun – Rakovník railway line.

The Vůznice has a catchment area of ​​28.2 km² and a length of 8 kilometers. Their average amount of water in the estuary is 0.05 m³ / s.

Landscape and nature protection

The wooded valley of the brook between Skalka and Žlubinec is protected as the Vůznice National Nature Reserve.
