VEB Kombinat gearboxes and clutches

The combine gearboxes and clutches in Magdeburg was an important group of state- owned enterprises of the GDR . It emerged from the VVB gearbox and clutch and existed from 1963 to 1990.

The range of goods offered by the combine companies included, for example, gearboxes for shipbuilding, railways and crane construction. The ASUG brand was registered as a trademark for the products of the combine .
