The Vaca-Nunatak is a 715 m high nunatak in the West Antarctic Queen Elizabeth Land . It is the southernmost nunatak in the Panzarini Hills of the Argentina Range in the Pensacola Mountains .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own surveys and with the help of aerial photographs of the United States Navy between 1956 and 1967. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1968 after Captain José M. T. Vaca of the armed forces of Argentina , officer on duty on the Belgrano-I- Station in the Antarctic winter of 1961.
