Vahur Teppan (born February 22, 1985 in Tartu ) is an Estonian cross-country skier .

Career

Teppan started internationally for the first time in January 2005 at the Winter Universiade in Seefeld in Tyrol . His best placings were 25th place in the 30 km mass start race and 11th place with the relay. The following month he ran his first races in the Scandinavian Cup in Sundsvall , finishing 32nd over 10 km classic and 26th in the skiathlon . His first of a total of 17 races in the Cross-Country World Cup he completed in January 2006 in Otepää , which he finished in 48th place in the sprint. In January 2007 he was at the US Super Tour in the Telemark Resort over 15 km classic and third in the sprint in Houghton . In January 2008 he got his first World Cup points in Canmore with 19th place in the sprint. This is also his best individual placement in the World Cup. In the 2010/11 season he reached five places in the points, including third place in the sprint in Jõulumäe and in Keuruu , 11th place in the overall ranking of the Scandinavian Cup. He ran his last World Cup race in February 2011 in Drammen , which he finished in 24th place in the sprint.
