Vaimalau is a village in the Muʻa district in the Kingdom of Uvea , which belongs to France as part of the French overseas territory of Wallis and Futuna .

Vaimalau is located on the west coast of the Muʻa district in the south of the island of Uvea , which belongs to the Wallis Islands . The village chapel is called Chapelle Lausikula . To the north of the village is the impressive Lac Lalolalo ( German Lalolalo Lake ).
