The Vakarel Saddle (English; Bulgarian Вакарелска седловина Wakarelska sedlowina ) is a 1,800 m high saddle on Smith Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is the highest mountain saddle in the Imeon Range and lies between Antim Peak in the east-northeast and Evlogi Peak in the southwest.
Bulgarian scientists mapped it in 2009. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2006 after the village of Wakarel in western Bulgaria .
